This component of our Vision Statement relates to being the hands and feet of Jesus. We serve others both inside the church (serving on a specific ministry team), AND outside the church (involvement in community activities, service groups, or outreach events).

Our desire at Vero Christian Church is to have every member committed to this level of showing the love of God through service to others.

In his book, "The Faith Once For All," Dr. Jack Cottrell asserts:

Community service activities by the church draw not only those who are directly helped thereby, but also those who observe what we are doing...The point of doing such good works is not to bring praise to ourselves, but to cause others to glorify God and thus want to surrender to Him.

To this end, we encourage all VCC members to serve in our community. Some of our Life Groups serve at the Source, Meals On Wheels, and at Care Net, while many individuals serve in schools, the arts, on ballfields, McKee Gardens, animal shelters, and more. Where are you serving?
